We’re so busy trying to keep our bosses, partners, and families happy, that we forget to love, appreciate, and be kind to ourselves.

1. Pat yourself on the back and give yourself credit for the things you do. Even if it’s something small.
2. Be realistic and don’t expect too much too soon. Set smaller goals if you need to.
3. Put things into perspective. Not everything is going to go according to plan all the time.
4. Stop comparing yourself to others.
5. Lower your expectations to stop feeling discouraged.
